TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art introduced on March 22, 1966 by General Choi Hong Hi in Seoul. It emphasizes discipline, confidence, self-defence and strength of character.

Starting in 7th standard, the student represented Karnataka and India in several championships, winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals across national and international events including Goa, Shanghai, Calicut, Bengaluru and Kathmandu.

Now a Black Belt, she believes every girl should learn self-defence to build courage, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and an indomitable spirit.

The school continues to inspire every child to become a Light of the World through holistic education balancing Academics, Sports and Co-curricular Excellence.
